Ladera Lodging
Four "in-session" nights with occupancy in the Residence Hall, are included with the winter and spring quarterly Residential Fees. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are "in-session" nights. Sunday and Friday nights are considered non-session nights. There is the option to stay additional, non-session nights, which are limited to one day prior, and/or the night of the day session ends, and subject to availability. An additional fee will be charged for each additional night. Please select your additional nights, above, for each session. Additional nights may be requested at a later date, with at least 1 week advanced notice via email, and are dependent upon availability. Please email GuestServices@pacifica.edu for any requests or changes. Changes to lodging dates must be sent, via email, at least 1 week in advance of the check in date, to avoid charges. Notice of an absence must be received at least 5 days in advance of the session start date.

An additional charge will be billed to your student account for any non-session extra nights, including an additional occupancy tax of 16%. All other additional charges will be billed to your student account.

Local Resident
Students claiming residency in Santa Barbara County or Ventura County must submit proof of residency prior to the start of the academic year or upon re-enrollment. Proof of residency can include Driver’s license with a local address, utility bill, lease agreement, etc. If not submitted prior to the start of a session the student will be billed as a residential student and Pacifica lodging will be put in place until proof is received. Students are required to notify Guest Services immediately if planning to move outside of Santa Barbara County or Ventura County; as such a move would likely change the student’s residency status.
Students who do not reside in Santa Barbara or Ventura County and still wish to apply for Non- Residential status will need to fill out a separate Residential Waiver Form and petition their residency status. Students will remain in residential status, and be billed as residential status, until the petition has been approved. Please complete the Registration form by selecting the room type you would prefer should your Residential Waiver form not be approved. Students who have approved accommodation needs on file with the Disability Services office, and/or needs outside of the options shown, please select the Other option above and note in the comments section below your needs, or specifically what you are requesting, and submit this form. Guest Services will follow up with any requests that fall under this option.
