Ladera / Best Western Housing
Six "in-session" nights in a standard dorm room at Ladera (no roommate), or in a shared/double occupancy room at the Best Western Plus Carpinteria Inn with an assigned roommate, are included in the Residential fee for the Quarter. Summer session "in session" nights include Wednesday through Monday nights. There is the option to stay additional, non-session nights, which are limited to one day prior to session start, and/or the night of the day the session end, however, an additional fee will be charged for each additional night. Please choose your additional nights, above, for each session. Additional nights may be added at a later date, with at least 1-week advanced notice, and dependent on the availability of your lodging selection, by emailing Guest Services at GuestServices@pacifica.edu. Cancellations to lodging must be sent, via email, at least 1 week in advance of the check in date, to avoid charges. Changes in room type selected are limited to requests at least one week in advance and subject to availability, changes during session are not permitted. Please see below for more information regarding housing information and additional night fees.
An additional charge will be billed to your student account for any non-session extra nights, including an additional occupancy tax of 16% for those staying at the Best Western. All other additional charges will be billed to your student account.
Twin and Full Size Rooms at Ladera

Semiprivate Suites Rooms at Ladera
- In-session per night ($98.00) (In addition to the residential fee)
- Non-session or part time /night ($229.00 plus tax)
Check-in time at Ladera is 3:00 pm or any time thereafter. Check-out time is no later than 11:00 am. *Late check out is not available without prior approval though Guest Services*
Double Occupancy/Shared Room with a roommate at Best Western
- Non-session or part time /night ($163.00 plus tax)
Single Occupancy/Private Room at Best Western
- In-session per night ($74.00) (In addition to the residential fee)
- Non-session or part time /night ($224.00 plus tax)
Courtyard Rooms at Best Western
- In-session and Non-session per night $47.00 (In addition to the residential fee and the single occupancy room upgrade fee)
Check-in time at Best Western is 3:00 pm or any time thereafter. Check-out time is no later than 12:00 pm. Late check out fees are determined by the hotel's policies. Exact room type, numbers, or locations are never guaranteed.
Local Resident
Students claiming residency in Santa Barbara County or Ventura County, and already have proof on file for 2025/2026, please select this option
Students who do not reside in Santa Barbara or Ventura County and still wish to apply for Non- Residential status for the Summer session will need to fill out a Residential Waiver Form in addition to completing this registration form, and selecting a lodging type above, and petition their residency status. Students will remain in residential status, assigned a standard room, and be billed as residential status, until the petition has been approved.
