Students claiming residency in Santa Barbara County or Ventura County must submit proof of residency prior to the start of each new academic year, or upon re-enrollment. Proof of residency can include Driver’s license with local address, utility bill, lease agreement, etc. If not submitted prior to the start of a session the student will be billed as a residential student and Pacifica lodging put in place until proof is received. Students are required to notify the Guest Services Office immediately if planning to move outside of Santa Barbara County or Ventura County; as such a move would likely change the student’s residency status.

Ladera / Best Western Housing

Three "in-session" nights in a standard dorm room at Ladera (no roommate) are included in the Residential fee for Spring session 3. There is the option to stay additional, non-session nights, which are limited to one day prior to session start, and/or the night of the day the session ends, however, an additional fee will be charged for each additional night. Please choose your additional nights, above, for the session. Additional nights may be added at a later date, with at least 1-week advanced notice, and dependent on the availability of your lodging selection, by emailing Guest Services at GuestServices@pacifica.edu. Cancellations to lodging must be sent, via email, at least 1 week in advance of the check in date, to avoid charges. Changes in room type selected are limited to requests at least one week in advance and subject to availability, changes to room type during session is not permitted. Please see below for more information regarding housing information and additional night fees.

An additional charge will be billed to your student account for any non-session extra nights, All other additional charges will be billed to your student account.

Twin and Full Size Rooms at Ladera

Students are encouraged to experience lodging at Ladera; however, it is understood that there are some students that will not be able to do so for varying reasons. Those that wish to discuss alternative lodging options, please select this Other option and note in the comments section below your needs, or specifically what you are requesting, for Spring session 3 lodging accommodations and submit this form. Guest Services will follow up with any requests that fall under this option. If requesting to make a personal reservation and commute for the session, please select the Other option, complete and submit the Guest Services Registration form, and then follow up with a Residential Waiver Form submitted via email to GuestServices@Pacifica.edu for review and approval.Students will remain in residential status, assigned a standard room at Ladera, and be billed as residential status, until the Residential Waiver has been approved. Student meals are served buffet style in the dining room. Four categories of special individual diets are accommodated: vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and dairy free. If you have more than one of these preferences, or food allergies, please make note in the diet notes section. There is also a selection available for those with need for medically restricted diet assistance. This selection does require an accompanying note from a licensed physician and connecting with the disability services office for accommodation information at DisabilityServices@Pacifica.edu at your soonest convenience. Our team will work with the disability office in meeting your dietary needs.
